Submissions are now being accepted for a Henry County Heritage Book. On Tuesday, June 16, the Henry County Heritage Book committee will host Don Mills of County Heritage Inc., publishers of the book, at the Bassett Historical Center at 11 a.m. to meet with the media. The book will be a beautiful hardbound book, 9” x 12”, exquisitely gold stamped and embossed, matching other Virginia County Heritage books! Alll residents, former residents, and those with roots in Axton, Bassett, Philpott, Collinsville, Dyer’s Store, Fieldale, Horsepasture, Irisburg, Leatherwood, Martinsville, Ridgeway, Sanville or anywhere in Henry County, VA, are invited to contribute.
