FHS Classes of 1961 and 1962 enjoyed their Junior-Senior Prom at the Hut in Collinsville, VA. On the wall is a picture with a historical connection as the Hut management was oriented that way. Their menu and placemats, as seen in this archive, followed that same theme. And here are student Sandra Jones and Eddie Rakes jitter-bugging for the crowd. Rakes, a teacher, loved to dance and few girls could keep up with him. Only one other in the crowd could and that was Jean Plaster. There are so many smiling faces - Mac Arnold, Mac Campbell, Janet Smith, Wanda Warden, Judy Simons, Maxine Hundley, Donna Clark, Nan Thompson, Janice Joyce, Peggy Beheler, Frank Prillaman, Selda Daniel, Ruth Iler, and Clyde Fuller.
