A Colorful Corner
There is nothing uglier than the craziness of electric wires; some towns seem to have an excess of them. But putting that aside there is no prettier spot in Martinsville if you enjoy azaleas. These riot red plants occupy the corner of Market and Ellsworth near the Market Square Deli. They are very near a place once called Brown Street Field. The plants, unbelievably full of blooms, are something to look forward to each spring. Hats off to the thoughtful person who planted them.
