Binding Time Book Fair 2012 |
Book fairs are fun events and this April 2012 event at Binding Time in the Druid Hills Shopping Center was especially nice. Here are authors Libby Bondurant, John Salas and Becky Mushko posing perfectly with their latest creations. Libby has a special technique for attracting customers to her table and that is yummy pecan chocolate thingees. And her website contains stories and recipes that will delight. Now John Salas doesn't deal in cooking but in the paranormal. He was very interesting to talk to and I'm currently reading his book entitled Promises Kept. He writes well and you can read at little more about him here. And Becky Mushko is an award winning writer who very often writes about Blue Ridge Mountains culture. She has written poetry, short stories and novels but her current interest is children's literature. Visit her website here. There were even more authors at this fair and I'll try to include their pictures this week. Thanks to John Hale at Binding Time - the chocolate float was great - and the yearly event is something to look forward to!
