A Creative Seamstress
I have never known a seamstress who wasn't driven to complete the job on time. Truly they should be the role model for the rest of us. A seamstress will stay up all night if needed to hem a skirt, repair a seam, put in a zipper or whatever is required just to have that garment ready when the customer walks in the door. And so it is with Kay Wood who operates Kay's on Walnut Street in Martinsville, VA. Having said that I wonder how she finds the time to create these unique purses. Each one is different and is made from the top of a pair of jeans. Add a belt, a bit of jewelry and a fancy lining and you have a really good looking bag. Stop in at Kay's and take a look.
