School starts and football season cranks up and that always makes me think of Coach Dick Hensley and Coach J.B. Heldreth. They were both larger than life coaches at Mavahi. Here's a great photo of Coach Hensley when he was a little guy - the only guy, in fact, in this picture. The names are printed as (Back Row): Drucilla Nunn, Frances Gilbert, Grace Hensley, Hazel Hensley. (Middle) Dick Hensley. (Front Row) Peggy Hensley, Emily Hensley, Juanita Warren, Hope or Grace Hensley. Hope and Grace were twins. Dick's mother, Mrs. Hensley, had to be a very busy woman!
