Pat Ross is the Director of the Bassett Historical Center. The Bassett Historical Center occupies the building that formerly served as the Bassett Public Library. The Bassett Historical Center is owned by the Bassett Public Library Association and leased to the Blue Ridge Regional Library currently for a 5 year period. The lease period is being reduced to 1 year. The Blue Ridge Regional Library system pays the salaries of the Bassett Historical Center employees as well as other expenses.
