| This house on the south-west corner of Starling and
Wilson was originally owned by the Pucketts. Mrs. Puckett operated it as
a Tourist Home during the 1940's. Her daughter, who grew up in the home
and later married James. M. Hodnett, still resides in Martinsville, Virginia.
In recent years, however, the home was unoccupied and, as seen above, boarded
up. Luckily the creative duo of Randy Powell and Pam Joyce realized its
potential and restored the old home. back |
